Cozy, Comfy, Charming: John Thomas Furniture’s Newest Introductions Range from Farmhouse to Coastal
High Point, N.C. Fall 2018 — John Thomas Furniture, Whitewood Industries’ casual dining turned more division, as well as home to their popular custom finish SELECT program, will introduce new collections this High Point Market that are on-trend, solid wood, and simply put, oozing with charm.
On the roster.
The jury has spoken and though the design world doesn’t predict shoppers are, long-term, going to immerse themselves in Farmhouse, because its remodel is as easy-going as it is welcoming, the trend is certainly not going anywhere anytime soon. Once termed “country”, adorned in burgundy and forest green with lace details, and birdhouses, its predecessor, while in the same down-home family, feels very far from its country roots.
This Market John Thomas Furniture will introduce Farmhouse Chic. The urbanized ten-piece bedroom, dining, and occasional collection, crafted in Parawood, and finished in a subtle Brindle finish, is on-point with today’s modernized farmhouse style with black iron hardware on cases and iron banding adorning the dining table top.
Dining price points begin at $999.00 MSRP (5-piece). Bedroom price points jump off at S2,199.00 MSRP (5-piece).
The coastal inspired, Seaside, collection is also on the company’s roster of new intros.
Not just for coastal living anymore, the style previously synonymous with overstuffed rooms and kitschy, dated accessories, has now taken on a new face of simple elegance. Every detail of coastal design today is meant to make you feel relaxed by using neutral colors of sandy tans, off-whites, and soft grays. It utilizes a lot of woven area rugs, rough finished wood, smooth clayware, and soft textures in drapery, pillows, and bedding. Coastal design is no longer Grandma’s dated overly-done shell and coral beach house. It’s casual, classic, and geared toward creating a haven from the hectic pace of day-to-day life.
This Market, John Thomas Furniture’s Seaside collection embraces all things modern coastal. The twelve-piece bedroom, dining, and occasional collection, is finished in a muted Wheat and Chalk White two-tone finish. Fashioned in solid Parawood, the collection features an arched louvered shutter headboard and modern pulls on cases.
The dining collection starts at $999.00 MSRP (5-piece). Bedroom starts at $2,199.00 (5-piece) MSRP.
Both collections can be seen at the company’s 215 South Main Street showroom during the High Point Market.
