Modern furniture infused with Latin American spirit
MIAMI – SPRING 2018 – Adriana Hoyos Furnishings prepares to launch Rumba, a whole-home furnishings collection in the company’s InterHall showroom, space IH-102, April 14 – 18.
Following a successful re-entry into the U.S. market last October, the Adriana Hoyos brand returns to High Point Market this spring, targeting high end dealers and interior designers with new products.
The introduction of Rumba includes upholstered seating and casegoods, including two sofas, an ottoman and a signature occasional chair; a dining table with correlating chairs; a bookshelf, cocktail table and room screen. Additional SKUs, including bedroom furnishings, will be added in time for the fall trade show.
Inspired by resort living and a modern tropical aesthetic, a natural wood finish is featured throughout the new offering. Upholstery fabric options include a rich blend of vibrant colors, textures and versatile patterns.
“The Rumba collection reflects on a luxury resort experience with sophisticated, timeless designs and Latin-American flair,” said Adriana Hoyos, brand founder and chief designer. “We are inspired by the musical characteristics of the Rumba, from the action of the marimba and drums, to the rhythmic flow of the dancers’ dresses.”
“For our newest Adriana Hoyos Furnishings collection, we combine these ideas with the craftsmanship and quality in our production that clients around the world know us for,” adds Hoyos.
The curves of the Rumba upholstered chair are designed for comfort, and it is available in either a swivel or standard seat, atop a wood base. The back shows off a sculptural wooden frame with metal studs – customizable in brass or silver – creating a unique design. Ideal for a living rooms or studio seating, the chair is poised to become an icon of the new collection.
An exciting showroom display is planned for InterHall’s premiere location during the spring Market.
